These terms and conditions were last updated on 25/02/2017. Use of Our website and the sale and purchase of goods from the website are governed by Our terms and conditions as set out below. By placing an order on Our website, You are agreeing to Our latest set of terms and conditions. “We” or “Our” means Wedding Boutique and / or our Merchants and / or Wedding Boutique online shop. “You” or “your” means the person accessing, using or ordering from our website over the Internet.


1. Disclosed agent

Wedding Boutique acts as agent in the sale of goods which are supplied by our fulfilment Merchants directly to you. These terms and conditions cover all sales made through this website and each of our Merchants must comply with our terms and conditions of trading.

2. Prices, description and availability of goods

All prices are shown in GBP (Pounds Sterling). Prices other than those in GBP are shown for guidance purposes only. All goods are sold subject to availability. Both price and availability information is subject to change without notice, hence any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price. If, after you submit your order, the Goods that you have ordered are not available, We will either substitute the goods for a similar item of equal or issue a refund for the out of stock item. Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Product pictures are shown for illustration only. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items displayed on our site may be mispriced. No contract exists between you and our merchant partner for the sale by our merchant partner to you of any product unless and until our merchant partner accepts the order. Payment for an order is not considered as acceptance of an order. Our merchant partners aim to verify prices as part of their payment processing procedures. Orders are accepted at our merchant partners' sole discretion and we and our merchant partners maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation. Colours shown on the website are for illustration only, and may appear differently on different computer monitors. 

3. Sales tax

Value Added Tax (VAT) is calculated on shipping destination. It is included in the price for orders shipped to destinations within the European Union (EU). For orders shipped to destinations outside the EU the price excludes VAT but orders may be subject to local sales tax or import duty. These are not included in our prices and customers remain liable for payment of these taxes or duties on or following delivery.

Orders shipped outside the EU but paid for with a card registered to an address within the EU are subject to VAT. This VAT will not be displayed in the shopping basket but will be added to the amount charged to your card.

4. Payment methods

All orders must be paid for by credit or UK debit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept payment by cheque, PayPal  or postal order, and you cannot pay in instalments. All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and credit / debit card transactions for orders outside the UK will be converted by the card company at their current exchange rates. 

5. Delivery arrangements

Your shopping basket displays the goods you have purchased.  Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation. Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments.

Goods can be delivered to the UK Mainland (England, Wales and Scotland), Northern Ireland and Ireland. The delivery charge for your order will be shown in your shopping cart. Delivery to offshore islands is by quotation only.

We cannot provide you with a time for any delivery. We aim to provide you with an estimated date provided by Our delivery partners

 Delivery to Northern Ireland and Ireland is via a standard seven day service, if the order is sent via a parcel courier. If the order is sent on a pallet delivery may take up to 14 working days.

All deliveries require someone to be present to take in the order a signature is required. For orders sent on a pallet we will attempt to contact you beforehand to arrange a delivery. If you are not able to accept a delivery on certain days you should arrange this with us beforehand. If we notify you of a delivery date either via phone or email and you are not able to accept this delivery, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.

Wedding Boutique will not provide any compensation for deliveries made late, or for items that are damaged during transit. If an item is damaged during transit we will provide a replacement item, subject to stock availability. If stock is not available a refund will be issued for the damaged items only. 

6. Order Tracking

Where applicable we provide links and tracking numbers to any orders sent via couriers. This information is provided by Our delivery partners and We cannot guarantee its accuracy.

7. Cooling off period and cancellation / returns

You can change or cancel your order at any time until We despatch the Goods to you.  If you wish to change or cancel your order, please let Us know immediately using the online contact forms or telephone numbers where applicable.

Customers [in the European Union] who are dealing with Us as consumers may cancel their order within 7 working days from the day after the day on which they receive the Goods provided that the Goods have not been used, altered or damaged and are in their original packaging.

If you wish to cancel your order, you must let Us know in writing by letter, fax or email within 7 working days. Unless the Goods are faulty, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the Goods to Us.  You have 14 days in which to return the items to us. If You have not returned the items to us within this period We will take steps to recover the Goods. You must make the Goods available for Us to collect on a standard working day between the hours of 9am and 5pm as detailed in section 9. In the event that we are forced to recover the Goods, You will be charged automatically to the card we have on file for each attempted collection £15 for an order made up of parcels or £40 per pallet order. Until the Goods are returned to Us You must take care of them. 

We will provide you with a full refund of the price of the Goods that you are returning within 30 days from the date on which you give Us notice that you wish to cancel your order. Please view our returns procedure found in our help desk for details on how to make a cancellation.

If your order arrives damaged or there are shortages we require notification in writing within 2 working days. Once we receive notification we will either replace or issue a refund for the damaged goods or shortages. If you do not give us notification within 2 working days of receiving your order we cannot issue a replacement or refund for these items.

8. Reservation of title

The seller continues to own all goods supplied until payment is received in full from the buyer. Until payment has been made in full the buyer must hold the goods in such a way so that they can be identified as the sellers. The seller may demand at anytime that the buyer returns the goods to the seller, and in the event that the buyer fails to do so the seller may enter the buyer’s premises and retrieve the goods.

In the event of incorrect items being delivered to the buyer or of the buyer cancelling their order, the buyer must make the goods available for collection by the seller on a standard working today between the hours of 9am and 5pm. If the buyer fails to do so, they will become liable for the cost of the goods at the current selling price listed on Wedding Boutique.

9. Complaints

Should you have a complaint with the service or product we provide please contact customer services.

10. Offensive or age restricted material

We take the utmost care to ensure that no material likely to give offence or which is unsuitable for children is displayed on our website. There are, however, certain products that we sell which are unsuitable for children (e.g. florist knives). By placing an order for products with age restrictions you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products.

11. Trademarks and copyright

All third party copyright, trademarks, brand names, product names and titles on this website are acknowledged. This website is protected by Copyright and the Copyright, Trademarks, logos and Intellectual Property rights for the content of the Wedding Boutique website are the property of Wedding Boutique or Our merchant partners. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Any use, printing or copying of materials on this website, other than in the course of browsing, selecting products and ordering from us, is strictly prohibited. Any framing of this website is prohibited.

12. Security

Security is one of our highest priorities and we take every precaution to protect your personal information both online and offline. We use the services of a payment merchant  to make sure that all card transactions are completed through a secure encrypted facility.

13. Privacy Statement

This privacy statement applies solely to information collected through this website.

13.1. Information Collection and Use

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more personalised shopping experience. We will share the data we collect with our Vendors solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others other than as disclosed in this statement. During the registration or ordering process we collect some or all of the following information:

  • Your name and address
  • Your contact telephone numbers (to enable us to contact you in the event of a query)
  • Your e-mail address
  • For credit / debit card purchases your card details

We will confirm your personal details on our acknowledgement of order. If you have registered you may check, amend or remove your personal details by clicking the login button. By registering or ordering through our website you consent to the collection and processing of your personal details by us.

14.2. Registration and Newsletter

To place an order with us registration is required. We will store your personal details securely with access protected by a user name and password. When registering you may opt to receive regular newsletters, marketing information, special offers and website updates from us. If you wish to receive these without ordering please register anyway. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials you may opt-out of receiving these communications by contacting us through our online contact form.

14.3 Cookies

A Cookie is a piece of data containing information about the user which may be stored on the user's hard drive. We use cookies to provide a more personalised service when you logon to our site. The cookies contain no personal information about you, but they do contain a unique identifier to your computer that allows us to recognise when you logon to our site. Cookies are required for you to use Our website so that you can login and place a secure order.

14.4. Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the website, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

15. Legals

The contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
